Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. quick oats
1 1/4 c. boiling water
1 stick oleo
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/3 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Pour boiling water over oats and let stand 20 minutes, then add butter and sugars; mix well.
Add beaten eggs and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients together.
Add and mix well.
Bake in a 13 x 9-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
