Sweet Potato Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. butter or shortening
1/2 c. cold mashed potatoes
6 Tbsp. milk
Preparation

Sift together the dry ingredients.
Work in the shortening and cut in the sweet potatoes.
Moisten with milk using only enough to form a soft, tender dough.
Turn onto a slightly floured board. Knead until just smooth and roll out 1/2-inch thick.
Cut into 1 to 1 1/2-inch biscuits.
Bake in a hot oven (450\u00b0) until browned.
