Spicy Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 c. bread crumbs
    1 egg
    1/4 finely chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    1 (10 oz.) jar apricot or peach preserves
    1 c. thick, spicy barbecue sauce
Preparation
    Combine meat, crumbs, egg, onion and salt.
    Shape into 1-inch meatballs.
    Brown in margarine and drain.
    Combine preserves and barbecue sauce.
    Pour over meatballs.
    Simmer 20 minutes.
    Makes approximately 3 dozen.
