Raisin Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. raisins
2 c. water
2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. shortening
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
3 c. flour
2 tsp. soda (dissolved in a little hot water)
Preparation

Stew
for
5 minutes raisins, water, sugar and shortening. Cool,
then
add rest of ingredients.
Mix well.
Grease and flour pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
