Corn Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 large onion, chopped
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 lb. ground meat
    2 1/2 c. or 1 (No. 2) can corn
    1 egg, beaten
    2 c. milk
    1/3 c. corn meal
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Saute green pepper
    and
    onion in butter.
    Add meat and brown slightly.
    Stir in
    corn, beaten egg and milk.
    Mix well and cook 5 minutes.
    Add corn meal and seasonings.
    Cook until the consistency of mush.
    Pour
    into a greased baking dish and sprinkle with bread crumbs
    and dot with butter.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for one hour.
