Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/2 c. lukewarm water
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. warm water
    8 c. sifted flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water.
    Cream shortening and sugar together.
    Add beaten egg, salt, water and yeast mixture. Add flour; mix well.
    Put in large greased bowl; grease top of dough and cover.
    Place in refrigerator.
    When ready to use, take out as much dough as is needed and shape in rolls.
    Put in greased pan; let rise 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
    Bake in hot oven at 400\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
