Baked Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large red cooking apples
    3/4 c. granulated sugar
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 c. water
    cinnamon
Preparation
    Prepare apples.
    Wash and core; peel 1/3 of the way down from the top.
    Place, stem side down, in a baking dish.
    Boil the granulated sugar and water for 10 minutes.
    Pour over the apples. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for about 45 minutes, until apples are tender when pierced with a fork.
    Remove from oven and sprinkle with brown sugar.
    Return to oven until sugar is melted.
