Wilted Lettuce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head leaf lettuce
    1 small onion, sliced thin into ringlets
    6 large radishes, sliced
    2 pieces bacon, slice into 1/4-inch pieces and fry crisp
    1/2 c. vinegar (apple cider)
    1/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Tear lettuce into small pieces.
    Add onion and radishes.
    Mix vinegar and sugar together until dissolved.
    Pour over mixture. When ready to serve, pour bacon pieces and hot drippings over mixture.
    Serve immediately.
