Pate Acadien - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 lb. lean beef, cubed
    1 1/2 lb. lean pork, cubed *
    3 medium onions, chopped
    salt and pepper to taste
    water to cover
    pie crust (2 pie crust)
Preparation
    *Fat pork rendered down may be substituted for the cubed lean pork (optional), 1/2 pound rind removed, cube.
