Blueberry Buckle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. blueberries, washed and remove stems
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. soft shortening
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Grease and flour 9-inch square baking dish.
Combine dry ingredients and set aside.
In another bowl, cream together sugar and shortening.
Beat in egg and mix in milk.
Mix dry ingredients with wet ingredients.
When thoroughly mixed, fold in blueberries. Pour into baking dish.
