Hummingbird Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. plain flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
3 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c. salad oil (Crisco)
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple (undrained)
1 c. chopped pecans
2 c. chopped bananas
Preparation

Stir. Do not use mixer. Combine dry ingredients in mixing bowl. Add eggs and salad oil. Stir until dry ingredients are moist. Do not beat. Stir in vanilla, pineapple, 1 cup chopped pecans and bananas. Spoon batter into 3 well-greased and floured 9-inch cake pans. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool completely.
