Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
3/4 tsp. salt
1 c. oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. water
2 tsp. cinnamon
pinch of nutmeg
4 c. apples, peeled and chopped
1 c. walnuts or pecans
confectioners sugar
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease a 13 x 9-inch pan.
In a large mixing bowl, beat eggs with oil until thoroughly blended.
Add sugar, vanilla, baking soda and water.
Beat until light and fluffy.
Add flour, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg.
Beat until smooth. Fold in apples and nuts (dough will be tough).
Spread evenly into a prepared pan.
Bake 50 to 60 minutes.
Cover and store at least 24 hours before eating.
Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
