Haggerty - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. bacon fat
1 1/2 lb. potatoes
1 large onion, thinly sliced
1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
salt and pepper to taste
paprika
Preparation

Use half of bacon fat to grease a 2-quart casserole.
Wash potatoes but do not peel. Slice very thinly.
Fill casserole with alternate layers of potatoes, onion and cheese.
Sprinkle each layer with salt and pepper.
Top layer of casserole should be potatoes.
Use remaining bacon fat to dot top layer of potatoes. Sprinkle with paprika.
Cover and microwave on High for 20 to 22 minutes.
Makes 4 servings.
