Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. old fashion oats
1 1/4 c. boiling water
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. sugar
1 stick butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda

Preparation

Add oats to boiling water. Remove from heat. Cover and let stand. Cream brown sugar, sugar and butter. Add eggs and dry ingredients. Mix in oats (mixture will be thin). Bake in a greased and floured 13 x 9 pan at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Spread with topping while hot.
