Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    4 Tbsp. cold water
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    pecans (optional)
    5 to 6 c. flour (approximately)
Preparation
    Cream soft butter, sugar and then eggs and water.
    Put salt and baking powder in 1 cup flour and add to ingredients.
    Work in flour until it is consistency to roll and cut or pinch off and roll with hands into small balls.
    Put on greased cookie sheet and press with fork.
    Bake at 350\u00b0.
    Makes about 100 cookies.
