Seafoam Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. corn syrup
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    1 c. chopped pecans
    2 egg whites
Preparation
    Combine
    sugar,
    syrup and water and cook over low heat until sugar
    is
    dissolved.
    Cook
    until mixture dropped into very
    cold water
    forms
    a
    firm ball.
    Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
    Continue beating while pouring hot syrup in a
    thin\tstream into
    egg\twhites.
    Add
    vanilla.\tBeat until mixture
    holds
    its shape and may become too stiff for mixer. Add nuts.
    Drop mixture from spoon onto waxed paper.
