Oatmeal Lace Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. rolled oats
    2 1/4 c. light brown sugar
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 lb. butter
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Put oats, brown sugar, flour and salt into a bowl and stir thoroughly.
    Melt butter; let it get quite hot, but not bubble. Stir butter into oat mixture until sugar is melted.
    Add slightly beaten egg and vanilla.
    Stir all together.
    Drop very small amounts from teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet.
    Bake about 7 minutes at 375\u00b0.
    Yields about 2 dozen.
