Bread And Butter Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 cukes, sliced
    2 c. onions
    4 green peppers
    2 c. vinegar
    3 c. sugar
    2 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. turmeric
    1 tsp. cinnamon (optional)
Preparation
    Soak the cukes, onions and peppers in salt water for 1 hour; rinse and drain.
    Cook (simmer) with the remaining ingredients for 20 minutes and seal in jars.
