Bob L'S Favorite Sweet N' Sour Turkey - cooking recipe

1 (8 oz.) pkg. Green Giant harvest fresh frozen cut green beans
1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/3 c. vinegar
2 (8 oz.) cans chunk pineapple (in its own juice), drained reserving 1/3 c. liquid
1 Tbsp. margarine
1 1/2 c. cubed, cooked turkey or chicken
1 c. cherry tomato halves
2 c. hot cooked rice
Preparation

Cook green beans as directed on package. Drain.
In medium saucepan, combine brown sugar and cornstarch. Stir in vinegar, reserved pineapple liquid and margarine. Cook until sauce boils and thickens, stirring constantly.
Stir in pineapple chunks, turkey, tomato halves and green beans.
Continue to cook over medium heat until thoroughly heated, stirring occasionally. Serve over hot cooked rice. Garnish with sesame seed, if desired.
Makes 4 servings.
