Bean And Bacon Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 slices bacon, crisply fried and crumbled
    bacon drippings
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/4 c. chopped celery
    3 (15 oz.) cans Great Northern beans
    2 (15 oz.) cans chicken broth
    1 (15 oz.) cans whole tomatoes
Preparation
    Saute onion, green pepper and celery in drippings until onion begins to color.
    Add canned vegetables and bacon.
    Simmer on low heat for 30 minutes.
