Lazy Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cooked squash (yellow or zucchini), drained
    2 Tbsp. grated onion, gently sauteed
    1/2 c. milk
    1 egg
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
    1/2 c. grated cheese
    salt
    cracked or freshly ground pepper
    butter
Preparation
    Combine onion and squash.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Add beaten egg and milk.
    Put half of squash mixture in casserole. Sprinkle half of crumbs and half of cheese over.
    Add rest of squash mixture, rest of crumbs and rest of cheese.
    Dot with butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
