Butter Stars - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 lb. flour
1/2 lb. sugar
3/4 lb. butter
4 beaten egg yolks
2 egg whites

Preparation

Sift flour on board.
Add sugar.
Cut in butter with knife until crumbly.
Add egg yolks and mix well.
(This takes quite a while.)
Beat 2 egg whites a little; brush on cookies and sprinkle with sugar.
Bake at 375\u00b0 until brown.
