Blonde Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. butter or margarine, melted
    2 c. brown sugar, packed
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    6 oz. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Add brown sugar to melted butter.
    Add eggs and vanilla to mixture and blend well.
    Gradually stir in sifted dry ingredients and mix well.
    Spread into 8 x 12-inch baking pan.
    Sprinkle chocolate chips and/or nuts on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Do not overbake!
