Stuffed Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large Bermuda onions
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 slice bacon
    2 Tbsp. chopped celery
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1/4 c. evaporated milk
    2/3 c. bread crumbs
    1 c. stock
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Parboil onions for 10 minutes; drain and cool.
    Saute meat and chopped bacon in margarine; do not brown.
    Add parsley, celery, milk and crumbs, plus 1/3 of stock.
    Now, peel and scoop out centers of onions.
    Stuff with meat mix and place in baking dish. Pour in rest of stock.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    Baste occasionally.
    Serves 4 to 6.
