Marinated Seafood - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. fresh or frozen sea scallops
3/4 c. lime juice
3/4 lb. fresh or frozen shelled, deveined shrimp
1/2 firm avocado
1/4 c. onion
1 1/2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 Tbsp. minced fresh coriander leaves or 2 Tbsp. dried coriander leaves
crushed ice and lime slices
Preparation

In a glass baking dish, place uncooked scallops; pour lime juice over them and let stand covered for 1 hour.
Stir in uncooked shrimp, chopped avocado (coarse), onion (fine), olive oil and coriander; refrigerate, covered for 8 hours or overnight. Spoon scallop-shrimp mixture into a dish that is then placed in a large bowl of crushed ice for serving.
Garnish with lime slices.
