Peachy Blueberry Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. plain flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. margarine, melted
    3 medium peaches
    2/3 to 1 c. blueberries
    vanilla ice cream (optional)
Preparation
    Combine dry ingredients in a medium mixing bowl.
    Combine milk and melted margarine, then pour over dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
    Pour into greased 12 x 8 x 2-inch glass baking dish. Peel, slice and lightly sugar peaches.
    (May substitute canned peaches.)
    Spread peaches evenly over top of batter.
    Sprinkle with blueberries.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Cobbler is done when crust rises to top and browns.
    Serve warm and with ice cream, if desired.
