Banana Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can evaporated milk
    1 can water
    2 egg yolks
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 box vanilla wafers
    1 to 2 lb. ripe bananas, sliced
Preparation
    Mix and cook first 6 ingredients over moderate heat until thickened.
    Arrange layer of vanilla wafers; top with sliced banana in a deep dish.
    Pour a layer of pudding over top.
    Do another layer, saving some pudding for top.
