Hamburger Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 c. chopped onion
    3 c. beef broth
    1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes with liquid ketchup
    1 c. sliced carrots
    1 c. sliced celery
    1 c. cubed peeled potatoes
    2 bay leaves
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    In a large saucepan or Dutch oven, brown ground beef; drain. Add onion and cook until tender.
    Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat; cover and simmer until veggies are tender, about 45 to 60 minutes.
    Yields 8 to 10 servings or 2 1/2 quarts.
