Ozark Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1/3 c. all-purpose flour or whole wheat flour
    1 egg
    1 large apple, chopped fine
Preparation
    Beat sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, egg and vanilla until smooth.
    Stir in apple and nuts.
    Pour into greased 9-inch pie plate.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for approximately 30 minutes.
    Serve warm or cold with whipping cream or ice cream.
    Yields 4 to 6 servings.
