Applesauce Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
    1 egg
    1/2 c. applesauce
    2 Tbsp. grated onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 pkg. gravy mix or 1/2 c. catsup
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together to form balls.
    Brown in hot fat. Place in baking dish and pour mixture of 1/2 cup catsup and 1/4 cup water.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    I prefer to drain fat from pan and pour 1 package gravy mix and water over meatballs.
    Cover and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
    Serve over noodles.
    Also good with mushrooms added to gravy.
