Sweet And Sour Turnips - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 medium turnips
    1 tsp. salt
    4 slices bacon, diced
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Place turnips in saucepan.
    Cook 15 to 20 minutes.
    Add salt. Drain; set aside.
    Fry bacon until crisp.
    Combine egg, sugar and vinegar in small mixing bowl, mixing well.
    Pour into bacon and drippings.
    Pour over turnip mixture.
    Toss gently.
