Meringue That Won'T Weep - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 egg whites
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Cook cornstarch, 2 tablespoons sugar and water together until clear; set aside to cool.
    Mixture will be stiff.
    Beat egg whites until it stands in a peak.
    Add cornstarch mixture; beat until creamy.
    Continue beating and gradually add 6 tablespoons sugar, the vanilla and salt.
    Beat until creamy.
    Can be used on anything that calls for meringue.
