Singing Chicken(Ga Kho) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. boneless chicken, cut crosswise into many 2 to 3-inch long pieces
    1 1/2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    2 cloves minced garlic
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    1 tsp. fish sauce
    1 tsp. ground black pepper
    steamed rice
Preparation
    Steam rice and set aside.
    Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat.
    Add garlic to oil and stir-fry for about 1 minute.
    Add the chicken and stir-fry for about 5 minutes.
    Add the remaining ingredients and cook, stirring often, until the chicken is cooked and the sauce is slightly thickened, about 10 minutes.
    Serve hot with rice.
    Makes 4 servings.
