Ingredients

1 pt. or 2 c. persimmon pulp
2 eggs
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 stick butter or margarine
1 large can evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla (if desired)
1/3 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Place margarine in large oblong pan.
Melt in oven as you mix other ingredients.
Stir eggs into persimmon pulp and sugar. Alternate milk, flour, baking powder and salt.
Add margarine last.
Pour back in pan.
Sprinkle with nuts (optional).
Bake in 375\u00b0 oven 45 minutes or until firm.
Cut in squares and serve.
