Homemade Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 10 potatoes
    1 large onion, chopped
    4 to 5 stalks celery
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
    garlic to taste
    1/4 to 1/2 c. butter
Preparation
    Peel potatoes; cut into small pieces and cover with water.
    Add salt, garlic and pepper.
    Also onions and celery.
    Cook until done, about 30 to 45 minutes.
    Drain most of the water; add milk and thicken with a flour and water mixture to the thickness desired.
