New Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    20 or 30 small new potatoes
    1/2 c. unsalted butter
    2 Tbsp. minced fresh parsley
    2 Tbsp. minced shallots
    1 Tbsp. minced chervil
    2 minced cloves garlic
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Scrub potatoes; do not peel.
    Cook in boiling salted water for 10 minutes; drain.
    Melt butter in a saucepan, large enough to hold potatoes.
    Add the herbs, garlic and shallots.
    Add the partially-cooked potatoes and shake the pan to coat them with the herb mixture.
    Sprinkle lightly with salt, cover and cook over medium heat, shaking pan occasionally so potatoes won't stick, about 20 minutes more.
    Serve hot with ground pepper.
    Serves 6 to 8 people.
