Vanilla Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/3 c. all-purpose flour or 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk (I use half evaporated milk)
    3 slightly beaten egg yolks
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (9-inch) baked pastry shell
Preparation
    Mix sugar, flour and salt well.
    Add to hot milk.
    Bring to boil and boil 2 minutes.
    Add beaten egg yolk, return to heat and boil 2 more minutes, remove from heat and add butter and vanilla. Pour into pie crust.
    Top with meringue.
