Pineapple Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    9 slices canned (No. 2) pineapple
    9 maraschino cherries
    1 box yellow cake mix
Preparation
    Melt
    butter
    in electric skillet.
    Add brown sugar and spread evenly
    over
    bottom
    of skillet.
    Drain pineapple and cherries. Arrange
    fruit
    on
    butter and sugar mixture.
    Pour cake batter, mixed according to directions on box, over fruit. Bake for approximately 25 minutes with vent closed, the last 5 minutes open
    vent
    for
    steam to escape.
    Immediately invert cake
    out of
    frypan
    onto a serving platter.
    Serve hot with whipped cream.
