Southern Buttermilk Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. White Lily self-rising corn meal mix
    1 1/4 to 1 1/2 c. milk
    1/4 c. vegetable oil or melted shortening
    1 egg
    1 to 2 Tbsp. sugar (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat well-greased 8 or 10-inch heavy skillet in 425\u00b0 oven. Blend all ingredients and pour into skillet.
    Cook for 25 to 30 minutes.
