Quick Chocolate One Egg Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1-1/3 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2/3 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. water
5 Tbsp. semi-sweet cocoa OR 4 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa bars
4 Tbsp. shortening
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Mix and sift flour, baking powder and soda.
Cook 2 Tbsp. sugar, water and cocoa together.
Cream shortening and remaining sugar together, add egg; beat well.
Add sifted flour, baking powder and soda.
Add chocolate mixture, milk and vanilla.
Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes for layer cake or 30 minutes for loaf cake.
