Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. bulk pork sausage (hot or mild, your choice)
    1 lb. ground meat
    1 c. bell pepper, chopped
    1 c. celery, chopped
    1 c. onion, chopped
    2 c. golden mushroom or cream of mushroom soup
    garlic powder to taste
    salt and pepper to taste (I do not use salt)
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 c. rice
Preparation
    Saute sausage and ground meat in oil until no longer pink. Pour off excess oil and remove from fire.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Add at least 2 cans water.
    Cover and bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
    Stir about every 20 minutes until rice is absorbed.
    (You might have to add a little more water to make sure the rice gets done.)
    Serves 8 to 10.
