Sausage And Sauerkraut - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. Polish sausage
    1 (16 oz.) can sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
    1 can tomatoes with chives in liquid
    1 chopped onion
    1 chopped green pepper
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 bay leaf
    1 tsp. oregano
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cut the sausage into 1-inch slices.
    Saute until fully cooked and brown.
    Drain.
    Add sauerkraut, tomatoes with liquid, onion, green pepper, brown sugar and seasonings.
    Mix well.
    Cover and simmer 20 to 25 minutes.
    Remove bay leaf.
    Serve.
