Sausage-Sauce Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. mild pork sausage
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 c. water
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 Tbsp. snipped parsley
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. garlic salt
    1/2 tsp. dried oregano
    1 large head cabbage, cut in six wedges
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
Preparation
    In 2-quart saucepan cook sausage, onion and green pepper until vegetables are tender.
    Drain off excess fat.
    Add water, tomato sauce, tomato paste, parsley, sugar, garlic salt and oregano. Cover and simmer 15 minutes; stirring once or twice.
    Cook cabbage wedges in a small amount of water until tender; about 10 minutes. Remove from skillet and drain.
    Arrange cabbage and pour sauce over it.
