Many Way Meatballs(Serves 4) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can tomato, Cheddar cheese, cream of vegetable, celery or mushroom soup
    1/2 c. water
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/4 c. fine dry bread crumbs
    2 Tbsp. minced onions
    1 Tbsp. minced parsley
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 Tbsp. shortening (optional)
Preparation
    Blend soup and water.
    (If you use Cheddar cheese soup, it should be stirred to smooth first.)
    Measure out 1/4 cup to combine with beef, bread crumbs, onion, parsley and egg.
    Shape mixture into meatballs.
    Brown meatballs; pour off excess drippings.
    Add remaining soup mixture.
    Cover; cook over low heat for 15 minutes.
    Stir often.
