Prune Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
3 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. prunes, cooked and chopped
1 c. pecans, chopped

Preparation

Blend sugar and oil.
Add eggs.
Add dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk.
Add vanilla, prunes and nuts last. Pour into greased 8-inch pans.
Bake 45 minutes at 300\u00b0.
Ice with Caramel Icing.
