Escalloped Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (4 to 5 lb.) stewing chicken
    4 c. dried picked homemade bread crumbs
    4 Tbsp. butter, margarine or chicken fat
    2 Tbsp. onion (if you like it)
    1 1/2 tsp. or more poultry seasoning
    1/2 tsp. salt
    8 Tbsp. butter, margarine or chicken fat
    8 Tbsp. flour
    1 can mushrooms
    6 egg yolks
Preparation
    Cook chicken.
    Cool.
    Remove meat from bones.
    Should make approximately 4 cups meat and 6 cups broth.
