Sauerkraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can sauerkraut
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 c. sugar
    pimento
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
    1/4 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Heat sugar and vinegar together just until sugar is dissolved. Drain kraut.
    Mix kraut, celery, onions, peppers and pimentos. Pour sugar-vinegar mixture over.
    Place in covered bowl or jar. Great with black-eyed peas and other vegetables.
