Mexican Cornbread Skillet Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 eggs, beaten slightly
    1 1/4 c. cornmeal
    1 (17 oz.) can cream-style corn
    1 c. milk
    2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 bell pepper, chopped
    2 to 4 jalapeno peppers, finely chopped
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
Preparation
    Brown ground beef with onion and bell pepper.
    Drain.
    Mix eggs, cornmeal, corn, milk and oil.
    Pour half in a greased black skillet.
    Add a few jalapeno peppers and pour on beef mixture and sprinkle on cheese and pour on other half of cornbread mixture. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
    Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
