Marble Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
3 c. sifted cake flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. soda
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (5.5 oz.) can chocolate syrup

Preparation

Cream together sugar and shortening.
Add one egg at a time, beating well after each addition.
