Tinolang Manok(Chicken Ginger Stew With Green Papaya) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. chicken, cut up
    2 tsp. cooking oil
    2 tsp. fresh ginger strips
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    1 medium onion, sliced
    2 Tbsp. patis
    1 tsp. salt
    5 c. water
    2 c. pared, sliced, unripe papaya
    1/2 lb. spinach
Preparation
    In medium saucepan, heat oil over medium heat.
    Saute ginger, garlic and onion for 1 minute.
    Add chicken and saute until chicken colors change slightly.
    Season with patis and salt.
    Add water.
    Bring to a boil; lower heat and simmer for 30 minutes or until chicken is tender.
    Add papaya; cook for 5 minutes or until papaya is tender.
    Add spinach; cover and remove from heat.
    Let stand for 5 minutes. Serve hot.
